Objectives of this Role Inspect water-based fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, standpipe systems, and fire pumps in accordance with the requirements of NFPA 25 Walk entire area of the specific fire protection system to inspect, from the floor, visible system components Testing of devices as required by the specific contract in accordance with requirements of NFPA 25 Identify corrective action required Complete detailed reports of inspections performed, deficiencies observed, and corrective recommendations offered.
Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor Skills and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent At least 2-3 years of relevant industry experience Clean driving record and willing to comply with a drug free workplace Strong time-management skills and multitasking ability Comfortable with occasional overnight stays during scheduled out-of-town jobs and overtime as business demands On-call rotation required Preferred Qualifications Nicet LVL 1 or 2 preferred.
Employee must obtain within first year of employment.
Back flow experience preferred Reports to Sprinkler and Service Director Hide Quick Apply.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
