Responsibilities:
To construct and assemble cabinet components.
Verify and double-check all measurements to assure alignment of doors, hinges, and side panels.
Assemble with glue/clamps, dowels, screws/nails.
Install appropriate hardware such as hinges and drawer slides.
Reinforce Joints to maximize sturdiness and durability.
Prepare surfaces for paint and finishes.
Use and monitor production equipment and machinery.
Clean and repair equipment necessary to perform the work, including saws, table saws, skill saws, drills, sanding equipment, and paint equipment.
Maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements:
Prior experience as a Cabinet Maker preferred.
Prior carpentry experience preferred.
The ability to read a tape measure.
Excellent teamwork and customer service skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing workmanship.
Physical fitness, including ease of movement and the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.
Benefits:
Starting pay of $18 per hour, negotiable based on experience.
